Course Description: Learn how Access can simplify your database-driven life. You will open, navigate, and close database objects; view forms and reports; and look at queries. You will add records to a table using the datasheet and a form and use a database to sort, delete, edit, and filter records. You will design and create your own database, generate reports, create queries, and build a table from an Excel worksheet. You will create tables using Table Design View, append records to a table, work with queries and wizards, and learn about database management. Finally, you will modify table structures, set Lookup fields and field properties, and analyze and document a database. There is a minimum enrollment for this course and if not met, the course may be cancelled and fees fully refunded.

Connie is a graduate of MSU with a degree in Computer Science. She has been designing databases and websites for over 15 years and has been an instructor with MSU-GF for the last 5 years. She has been using QuickBooks for over 7 years. This fall she taught Intro to Computers on the MSU campus. She also serves as the Executive Director of the Community Mediation Center in Bozeman and works with non-profits in the area.

R.E.A.D.I.  Partners with Bridger Kitchens
This 38 hour training will provide students with a passion for excellence in cooking and an opportunity to turn their creativity into aesthetically pleasing products and serve their work.  This course is designed to prepare individuals for an entry level position and/or externship with some of the top Chef's in the area.  Course topics are: ServSafe®Certification, Knife Techniques, Primer on Vegetables, Basic Cooking Skills, Sauces, Grains and Starches, Menu analysis and Professional Table Service.  At the conclusion of the training students will prepare and serve a banquet to 125 people.

Ø Outstanding receivables will be written off for 2010 will note them as uncollectable. Will try again for 2011.
Ø $1,000 remaining possibly to be spent on our website or training academy.
Ø Lesa will develop a letter for YAS, document prior to 2011 billing this document will act as a “re-introduction” of YAS.
Ø In order to increase revenue we would like to have a meeting to welcome new organizations.

Ø READI- Finished a retreat, Pam Brisan is new staff for READI. Partnership career workforce community training facility.
Ø Voc. Rehab- States quo, informational meetings starting in January & then schedule meeting Thursday in January at 10:00 am
Ø Disability Resource Coordinator- One in every job service lots of  recidivism work.
Ø OPA- Outreach to CT office, directed to do outreach assist with voc. Rehab.
Ø Job service- Training for “Challenging clients”, other trainings.
Ø Adult Ed- Busy in Wilson School.

 

Ø MSU Extended-Spring schedule, computer classes. Prospera business school.
